Garnet Rogers – Short Bio
Garnet Rogers has established himself as one of the major talents of our time. Hailed by the Boston Globe as a “charismatic performer and singer”, heis known for his smooth, dark baritone voice, his thoughtful, dramatic delivery, and his consummate guitar skills. Garnet’s passionate, cinematic songs give expression to the unspoken vocabulary of the heart. He refers to himself as “an optimist at heart”, singing about the small victories of everyday life and people who are not obvious heroes.

Lynne Hanson – Short Bio
It’s roots music, “rough-around-the-edges” folk. Lynne Hanson’s songs are like a favourite pair of jeans – faded and worn through in spots, with some honestly-acquired grit ground into the seams. Lynne has won the Colleen Peterson Songwriting Award and was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award. She has toured Canada, the US, Europe and the UK, both on her own and in support of Grammy-nominated songwriters Gretchen Peters and Steve Forbert. She has also toured with Grammy Award-winning guitar legend Albert Lee, who says: “Lynne is a fine composer of interesting songs and performs them very well. She’s always welcome on any of my shows.” The Penguin Eggs Magazine jury placed Lynne’s “River of Sand” album – produced by Lynn Miles – in their Top 10 for 2015. Her upcoming Scott Nolan-produced album, “Uneven Ground”, will be released in 2017. An author as well as a songwriter, Lynne recently published “friday haiku”, a delightful book of her poems and photos.
